Welcome to Abide

Abide Christian Fellowship is a new church plant in Okatie, South Carolina opening in 2026. We exist to abide in Christ as we grow into mature worshippers who make disciples for the glory of God.

Meet the Leadership

  • Lead Pastor

Dustin Nally will be serving as the Lead Pastor of Abide Christian Fellowship. He and his wife, Kori Jo, were married in December of 2006 and have three boys, Jaden (10), Uriah (8), and Asher (6). Dustin was born and raised in Cartersville, GA. The Lowcountry, however, has truly been home since attending the College of Charleston from 2002-2006. After receiving the call to ministry, he and his wife attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary 2008-2014, where he received an M. Div. in Christian Ministries. Dustin has served in ministry for over 10 years, first as the Discipleship Pastor at Central Baptist Church in Henderson, NC, and later in several different roles at Cross Community Church, over Finances, Community Groups, Care, and Counseling. Along with His passion for marriage and family, Dustin desires to see the Lord move across our area in revival in new and existing churches through the power of the Gospel.

  • Pastor of Ministries

Matt and his wife, Amanda, were married in September of 2005 and are the proud parents of three daughters — Lily, Maribel, and Norah. A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and the son of a sailor, Matt has called the Lowcountry home since 2017. He is a two-time graduate of Liberty University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Religion (Biblical Studies) and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. For more than fifteen years, Matt has faithfully served the local church in pastoral ministry — leading in the areas of Children, Youth, Discipleship, and Outreach, and most recently serving as a Campus Pastor, where he launched and led a thriving multisite congregation. Matt believes that the Lord has called him to Abide Christian Fellowship to serve alongside Pastor Dustin Nally in shepherding God’s people and advancing the mission of the Gospel. He looks forward with great anticipation to all that the Lord will do in and through Abide in the days ahead.

  • Elder

Drew Beckwith has been married to his high school sweetheart Kaitie for nearly 12 years and they have two wild and wonderful little boys. Drew began following Jesus his junior year of college at USC and has devoted his life to serving Christ in his marriage, parenting, and career as a nurse practitioner. He loves the Lord, his family, and Gamecocks football, and is very much looking forward to serving the congregation at Abide Christian Fellowship as part of the core leadership team.

What we believe

Abide Christian Fellowship aligns with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000. We also hold these core values and principles in our ministry efforts as a church:

Gospel Centered: As a congregation, we wholeheartedly embrace what are traditionally known as the “ordinary means” of word and sacrament (baptism and communion). Every component of our corporate worship gatherings—praying, reading, singing, preaching, listening, and communion—should point to the work of Jesus Christ and serve to make us more like Him. To this end, we believe that Gospel-Centered Biblical exposition (verse-by-verse preaching) is the best approach for developing mature Christ followers and should be the normative approach to preaching and teaching the Scriptures within the local church.

Intentional Discipleship: The goal of the church is to glorify God by taking the Gospel to the world and making disciples, and mature disciples can only be made in the context of relationships. We will develop intentional environments where followers of Christ can grow in their understanding of Jesus, His word, and their role in His mission under the guidance of other mature believers.

Whole Life Sacrifice: As Christ came to serve and not be served, we seek to lead by being last. Abide Christian Fellowship embodies an “all hands on deck” mentality. We believe every believer has been gifted by God and equipped by the Holy Spirit to serve within the church, and we seek to do so humbly as we put others before ourselves and submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Sacrificial Giving: Christ gave all of Himself so that we might be saved, and the mission of the church advances through the sacrificial gifts of time, treasure, and talent. We trust that covenant members will faithfully honor their membership covenant and consistently give financially to the ministry of ACF and to use their spiritual gifts faithfully to the best of their ability for the glory of God.

Missional Engagement: Jesus Christ came to seek and to save the lost (Luke 19:10). In the same way, he commands us to pursue a lost and dying world with the hope of the gospel. Our evangelistic strategy goes beyond simply inviting people to worship with us on the weekends and moves into serving our family, neighbors, and community. We strive to be deeply involved in our families, our neighborhood, and our places of work and find ways to advance the Gospel where we have been planted. Our mission field is wherever we are in any given moment.

Dependent Prayer: We will pray corporately, together in homes, and in our personal devotions to the Lord, prayers that require His moving. We will boldly approach the throne, pleading for the Lord to rescue the lost, heal the sick, open the eyes of the blind, and bring about the revival of our culture in our day and time.

Authentic CommunityAs the early church revealed, it is through true biblical community that the gospel spreads, so we, too, desire to build a covenanted community whose lives before the Lord are marked by a genuine yearning to resemble our Lord. We will love through word and deed, holding tightly to the scriptures for encouragement and refining. We desire to be marked out as a community of faith, and as a genuine family whose head is Christ alone.
