Walking into a new church for the first time should feel like coming home, not like an interview. At Abide Christian Fellowship, we want to remove the guesswork from your Sunday morning experience. From the moment you arrive at the YMCA to the moment you leave the sanctuary, our goal is to provide a warm, hospitable environment where you can set aside the noise of life and focus entirely on the beauty of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • Abide Christian Fellowship meets at the James Fisher Memorial Foundation YMCA located at 11010 East Argent Parkway, Ridgeland, SC 29936. Worship Service begins at 10:30am, with fellowship time beginning at 10:00am in the lobby!

  • We are a multi-generational church, so whether you arrive in shorts and a t-shirt or a suit and tie, you’ll find yourself welcome on Sunday mornings.

  • Our worship gatherings tend to fill up quickly, so we suggest that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the worship gathering, especially if you are planning to check in children to Abide Kids.

  • When you pull onto our property, you will be greeted by our parking team, who will direct you to a parking spot. When you walk through the front doors, our welcome team will be there to greet you, and you can help yourself to a cup of coffee in the lobby, visit our First-Time Guests Team, or find your spot in the Worship Center!

  • When you enter the building, look for the table that says “First-Time Guests”. If you need assistance finding the spot, just ask one of our greeters. Our first time guest team will have a small gift for you, and they will escort you to check in children at Abide Kids (if applicable) or to help you find a seat in the worship center. You can use the “plan a visit” button at the top of this page to complete pre-registration for yourself and any family members who may be attending with you.

  • Yes! Abide is available for Early Childhood (6 months – PreK) and Elementary (K-3rd Grade) at our worship gathering. We’re a church who values family worship, so Elementary Kids will be dismissed prior to the beginning of the sermon. Fourth and Fifth Grades are invited to join us for the full worship service.

  • Each of our Abide Kids Ministry Team Members are Covenant Members at Abide who have been interviewed and independently background checked. Each classroom is staffed with 2 or more trained Ministry Team Members and we strive to create clean, fun, safe environments for our kids to hear the gospel and grow in their relationship with Jesus.

  • Our worship gatherings usually last about 70 minutes. Our gathering consists of music, prayer, expositional preaching of God’s Word and sharing in the Lord’s Supper (Communion).

  • At the end of our worship gatherings, our prayer team is available. As the congregation is being dismissed, you can connect with a prayer team member at the front of the sanctuary, and they will be glad to pray with you. If needed, they can direct you to a pastoral staff member for further discussion or counseling.
